Bringing the experiences of our really strange lives into our songwriting and music, lives which permanently have been accompanimented with the music we love, is what has made Mandorla. Right now we are busy recording Mandorla's second album, following the debut "Nattfjärils tal till solen" - vaguely translated "A Moths Speech to the Sun" -, which was relased in 2005 on Kite Recordings.
Mandorla is really disappointed with the inventor of the clock. In former times it might’ve been rational with a 24-hour-day. But in these hectic days? Not. Martin is busy studying to become a psychologist, meanwhile Andreas is busy studying him trying to become this.
However, all the tensions they will sublimate to music. The musical journals of this therapy should be finished at the end of 2008 – Mandorlas second album. This time the lyrics will be sublimated in english.
The american site www.parasol.com writes on Nattfjärils Tal Till Solen: "The music on can be described as a mix between the sweet melodies of Brian Wilson and Swedish progressive/psychedelic godfather Pugh Rogefeldt. Press: 'They've made the Swedish equivalent to The Beach Boy's Pet Sounds!! Straight from the woods.'"
