I'm amazed that I actually get to do what I want with my life secularly even after years of changing pampers and teaching my son how to write his name. Believe it or not, those accomplishments are more important to me than anything money can buy. You can't buy preciousness. You can't buy gratefulness. Inspiration isn't for sale! I'm a passionate photographer currently working on a few spas in Miami but also doing freelance for aspiring models and actors.Born in Mississippi but never acquired any skills of a southern belle besides making mississippi mud pies, making whoopie (pies or otherwise), pressing shirts after they've been hung in the sun to dry, and using elbow grease to get the job done! I only lived in Gulfport until I crawled, after that my family set off to Michigan and then to Ohio. It was in these early days of travelling that I realized I was a gypsy with an old soul except I had one problem, I still was in the first grade! My nickname growing up was Olive Oyl. It's funny how we learn to embrace our childhood. I don't know if it's because we long for the fleeting years or because we want everyone to know we were teased for being a lanky string bean with two dots for a chest! I'm better for it! Aren't we always? Now that I am a mother, I see myself in my son daily. And just in case you are wondering, YES, this is the sweet life. Before anything or anyone, I am a Mother. I love it so much because my heart is constantly pounding and fluttering and I've never been so proud or passionate in all of my days. Being a single mother had its challenges but really in the end we are not alone. My best friend, Eduardo has told me that he is in love with me and wants to be a family with me and my son! I love him so ridiculously much and we will be together forever! It's true, LOVE comes only when you aren't looking!I love music and I love to dance! I was in 2nd grade when my father bought Whitney Houston's first album. We were visiting New Orleans and it was playing in a store. I remember my parents dancing to that album over and over until it finally scratched. I love those days. Screeching record players, bikes with banana seats, tree houses, pretty dresses my mom would make us, and a sweet tooth that was always taken care of with pecan pie. .....................fast forward.............. Wow am I lucky that pie never stuck to my thighs! I'm still a string bean and life is good! I am working on a novel and 5 childrens books and a plan for true happiness. I want to make friends to last a lifetime. I will be married soon and have more children. I want to grow deeper in my spirituality. I lost it along the way but I feel it breathing down my neck. Just writing that gave me goosebumps.... We all have goals and dreams and hopes and fears. Love must be the silver lining in the clouds. Cross your fingers...and hang on for the ride. Namaste!

STOP THE VIOLENCE!

My legs are stretched out on the towel and I am leaving here tomorrow not knowing where I'm going or what's going to take me, the breaking tide or the sun baked sand. Wait, I'll just stay here, I'm pa...
