élokani am a hiphop soul.
i am an Eyes Wide Open artist.
While i mostly craft soul inspired hiphop instumentals, i also spend a great deal of time writing rhymes and poetry...Mais plutôt que d'essayer de décrire ou catégoriser mon style ou mon son, je vais simplement vous dire pourquoi j'aime le hiphop.

I LOVE HIPHOP cuz its not something you buy, get or learn. its only something you can BE.
I LOVE HIPHOP cuz i can relate to everything William Upski wrote in "Bomb the Suburbs".
I LOVE HIPHOP cuz it's emcees pushing 40 and having fun on stage like they still were teens (nevermind if you have never seen a De La Soul concert).
I LOVE HIPHOP cuz i can't get enough of KRS-ONE's lectures.
I LOVE HIPHOP cuz it embodies all other forms of music and it made me discover them
I LOVE HIPHOP cuz it's nothing but a creative movement that originated from human beings wanting to turn uglyness into colorful beauty, boring life into rythm, segregation into community, and simple words into wisdom.
