History... Just because it seems neat to say something about us
Once upon a time (it was in 1999 if I remember well...) Nooz decided to bake a cake with the Fany Farmer Cookbook she found in her mom's kitchen...
So she started melting, stirring, pouring, beating, so well, with so much enthusiasm, that the paste started becoming swollen... But really very swollen !
So Nooz just thought calmly (at least as calmly as she could) : "Supercool!! this is going to be a MONSTER CAKE !!!".
At the end of the recipe she read "You can also make some cupcakes out of this recipe"....
"Hum Monster Cupakes" She thought "How I'd like to have such a named band..."
Five year later she met Ferretman on a festival and immediately told him about the Monster Cupcakes. But she was singing in a heavy metal band, and Ferretman was the bassist of another trash metal band. They were happy this way... But not enough in fact. So, when the drummer of Nooz's band decided to move from Strasbourg to Finland, and Ferretman decided to set trash metal aside, they both started imagining what they could do of the Monster Cupcakes.
Finally the answer was : "Anything we want !"
They met Cap'tain Steven on the Internet in october 2005 and he introduced them to Pok the Caveman...
You know, sometimes in life you feel something's happening. Some sort of magic in the air, with falling stars, little birds singing, rainbows appearing, fairies dancing, tiny bells ringing... And you feel really fiiiiine... That's mostly what happened (no we weren't under any drug !!!)
They all started composing rock song without imaginning any limit, just doing anything they wannted, building their playground...
A playground called Monster Cupcakes !!!
To be continued...
Note for those who woulfd think this is probably a very interesting art experience and that would only visualise a dot : you should download Firefox ;) the "embed" tag I use automatically turns into an "object" tag in the band details editor of Myspace... I'll probably find a solution... I hope...
