13th Omen started playing as a band under the name Euphoria with members Mat Arrington, Jeremy Procaccio, and Bob Gregg in 1995. They released their first self titled CD in 1996 including thirteen original songs. After playing many shows at local clubs such as Rons Crossroads, Annabells, and The Robinhood they went on to participate in a battle of the bands at Peabody s in Cleveland , Ohio. As Euphoria progressed and their music style matured, they changed their name to 13th Omen and released a new self titled CD including seven new original songs in 2000. While continuing to gain a following and play at all of the local clubs, 13th Omen has played for the Crooked River Arts Festival with Iron Butterfly and for the Bluesfest at The Riverfront Mall in Cuyahoga Falls , Ohio .
Currently, 13th Omen has moved forward again. Original bass player Bob Gregg left the band and Alex Hogue filled the spot perfectly! While further expanding their music style, the band is creating new songs, doing more promotions and advertising as well as adding more and more to each show in an attempt to gain the exposure that they need. 13th Omen is ready for the overdue attention that they have worked so hard to deserve.
Currently 13th Omen is working on their fourth CD, self produced and won't be playing any shows until it is done. You might have had a chance to seen them at the following venues:
The Odeon, The Voodoo, Peabody's Down Under, Annabells, Ron's Crossroads, The Dusty Frog, Chuck's Steakhouse, Europe Gyro, The Robinhood, The Pelican Cove, Club Wet, The Avenue, and many, many parties.
