Welcome my name is Dustin Stoelwinder. musician/ audio engineer/ retired freestyle skier, my love of music stems back to my early childhood when I joined the school choir and drama club from grade one to four, In grade five I finally managed to get my hands on an alto saxophone, by grade eight our band class was competing in jr nationals, I finally decided in grade nine to try out e-guitar, but I soon changed to bass, after about a year of bass I decided to try out e-guitar again and I was hooked, now days I have trouble deciding what to play. In 2000 we started "Trickle Music" and began to promote shows, which later evolved into "Grasshopper Music” In 2003 we produced the “Back Off! Benefit CD” for his company Grasshopper Music; a non-profit organization uniting artists to address issues and raise awareness to create progressive change and diversity in the world. The CD charted in Canada on CKLN, CFMU, CHSR, CKDU, CIUT, CFRU, CKUL and CBC. With sales and support from around the world, we were able to help contribute to stopping an initiative, called the “Working Forest” the most anti-environmental legislation in the history of British Columbia. We are currently producing the new benefit CD "Emergency!" which is aimed at helping victims of poverty, set to be released July 27, 2007.On a more personal note... Im very laid back and probably one of the most patient people you will ever meet. But dont let that aspect of myself fool you I have a nasty bite when it comes to enviromental issues and Politics.....Music is my life!! I love life! I love nature, good friends and music make this life worth living, anyway thx for checking out my bio have a good one!!! much
