Narayan Core

Narayan Core is an Italy-based American Alternative Rock band, born on the mid-90s post-Nirvana wave together with bands like Silverchair or Foo Fighters. Trained musician Julian Sachs, lead singer and guitarist, as well as song and lyric writer, starts working on the band around 1997 (at age 13) with other musicians, initially playing electric violin. The band continually evolves until it reaches its present shape in 2002, releasing their first full album "No Rights Reserved", containing 16 songs. The band has become a trio and is formed by bass player Lorenzo Cardi (also guitarist in Catnip), drummer Matteo Castelli and Julian Sachs (both in the "Young Silencers" www.myspace.com/youngsilencers).The band has perfected its style through the years and continues to believe in what they play, no matter what it is, to the point of presenting a complete mixture of genres and rhythms that can remind of early 90s bands like the Smashing Pumpkins or Pearl Jam, but also of Jazz and Swing bands, reaching out to alternative rock masters such as System of a Down or Queens of the Stone Age.A new album is expected soon, so keep in touch...
