My name is Michelle, I am a 25-year old Virgo born & raised in STL. I like cars, motorcycles, guns, football, and I LOVE being a girl!For the past three years I have handled all the marketing for the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Model Search in 15 US states, all of Mexico, as well as Belize, Denmark and Bolivia. I traveled 250 days out of the year and recently decided to plant myself here in STL, my home, and live like a normal person. The traveling was fun, but like everyone, I need stablilty, structure, and to be near those whom I love and love me.I have a degree in Mass Communications and I now work for an advertising firm in Brentwood. I'm in sales. I love my boss and the spontaneity of my job. I go different places and see different people every day. I still travel as much as possible, warm places during the winter or else I WILL shrivel up and turn into a pumpkin.We are all creatures of habit, but I force myself to stay out of my element. I think that when you get too comfortable, you become static, stop learning new things and forget about the very precious things you have. I don't think anyone has the right to be embittered because I've met some people who have been through more than I can ever imagine enduring in one lifetime, and who chose to be positive, open-hearted, generous, silly and happy. It's a choice. I chose happiness and openness. It's the only way to live in this world.I will be friends with and talk to anyone because I would rather risk letting someone in than risk misjudging and cheating myself out of a potentially good relationship or friendship. I get my heartbroken just like everyone else and I will continue to lay my heart on the line for a chance to experience love because I will never let someone who cheated me in the past cheat me out of my happiness in the future.Most people think I'm stuck up when they meet me, and I used to be just as judgemental, but I've changed and now I chose not to waste my time on such simple-minded individuals.I've been a gymnast, a dancer and a diver. Now I work out a lot, dance when I'm drunk, do flips on diving boards and sometimes do cartwheels at work.I have a wonderful family, lots of fun aquaintences, and a few good friends, which is everything I could ask for. I also have a 14-year old dog named shadow who is as vibrant as the day I adopted her when she was 8 weeks old. She and my 2 year old niece keep me dileriously happy.When I grow up I want a family, but right now I'm living just for me so that when I am ready to commit will have gotten all of my selfishness out of the way and have the ability to be the best parent and spouse I can be. I don't EXPECT to fall in love and get married, I think that's a privelage. IF you find someone with whom you can co-exist... People shouldn't get married because it's "the right time." People shouldn't have children when they feel they are ready, they should have children when they feel they are at the point in their life when they have the most to offer a child as a parent.Life is good. And funny. Don't take it too seriously and don't ever take your health, your family or your friends for granted. That way if, and when, you lose something irreplacaple, you will have the peace of mind to say that you did it, or them, justice when you had it by APPRECIATING it.
