Vivacious. Engaging. Soulful. Lisa Wilson, originally from Rome Georgia, can be described as a small town girl with big time ambition. She is no stranger to the stage. Lisa was not only a Finalist on American Idol in 2004 but she was named Miss Georgia USA 2006 and finished as 2nd Runner Up to Miss USA.Lisa has been working in the modeling and fashion industry more than half her life and she keeps her focus on the entertainment business. Along with her success as an internationally recognized model, Lisa has a passion for music. “Music is my drug of choice. I’m always in and out of the studio writing and recording new songs.” She got her first taste of the stage in her church at the early age of eight. It wasn’t long before she was stepping onto every stage she could find to have a chance to perform.Lisa made her jump to national television in 2003 when she auditioned for American Idol and made her mark on season 3. After leaving the Idol stage in 2004, she recorded her first album and began learning the ropes of the music business. It wasn’t long before history repeated itself and she returned to national television again in 2006 to compete for the coveted title of Miss USA. “It’s very surreal to see myself on national television. I’ve been blessed tremendously with these opportunities and I’m so thankful.”Television isn’t the only place you will find this raven haired starlet. Lisa has been featured on the cover of New You Magazine and was named one of Atlanta's 50 Most Beautiful People in 2006 by Jezebel Magazine. She has also appeared in People Magazine, Star Magazine, US Weekly Magazine, Pageantry Magazine, Atlanta Brides, and Supermodels Unlimited. In July of 2007, she was featured on the cover of Woman’s World magazine and she also appeared in a European Bacardi commercial with George Clooney.Lisa wants to live out the rest of her life entertaining the world around her. As her career grows, she plans on branching out into all facets of entertainment from singing and acting to modeling and hosting. “I’ve grown so much in the last few years and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Life is what you make of it and I choose to make it magical.”
