Evil Emperor was founded in August, 2002, by the guitar players Bruno and Eduardo Fallavena, as well as the vocalist Paulo Fallavena. Along with Gustavo Danni on the drums and Carlos Fedrigo on the bass, the line-up was complete and released two songs on Evil Circle Collection, a compilation distributed in Uruguay after the band played on First Metal Krieg Festival.
Later, the recordings to the first demo, entitled The Evil Birth, has begun. Gigs continue through all the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and after they release the demo, Carlos Fedrigo leaves the band, giving place to Guilherme the Maniac Butcher very quickly.
Soon, they cross the border for their first gig out of Brazil: Montevideo (Uruguay) and in a few weeks later, they join the Misanchristianthrophy Festival, in Bento Gonçalves and also the festival in an old factory in Porto Alegre, along with Saunter and Decimator. By the end of this period, Guilherme's place on the band is taken by Eduardo Gore Obssesed Araújo.
But, un the year of 2005, Evil Emperor pauses its activities due to musical divergences between the members Eduardo and Gustavo leave the band.
Finally, in 2006, the work is brought back to life: André Rodrigues takes the drummer job and, a few months afterwards, Rodrigo Linn on the bass completes the current Evil Emperor line-up.
Back to doing gigs in the southern local underground scene with a technical and brutal Black/Death Metal, they reconquer their space and come full throttle to their activities, now bringing to you the second demo, entitled Butcher of Souls. See us at Collision Records.
In 2007 Bruno Fallavena and Paulo Fallavena left and Leonidas Rübenich was joined to the band, that..s already preparing some news for the next semester.
