Hello, I am the Canadian...

About Me

Not as much to say right now as maybe I should. One always wants just the right thing or the perfect wittisim to place in these parts of a profile. Well, either I'm not that witty or I don't care to play that game with folks through needless bravado. Here's what you need to know about me. I was born and raised in Canada. Love my home and one day I may just go back. Right now I work and live in Houston, Texas. I've traveled all over this country and it is as wild and beautiful a country to live and work in as they say it is. Hell, at least she ain't boring! LOL! I especially love that west coast, couldn't get enough of California, truly spectacular!I love a good conversation and have been known to talk all night with anyone I care to do so with. A shot of whiskey or a stout cup of coffee can go quite nicely with most socializing so I include those whenever I can as well as good food, and any food can be good. However, it is largely dependant on the chef, not the ingredients since an ounce of pinache' will beat a pound of bullshit in the kitchen any day.I am a visceral, tactile-oriented person (fancy way for saying obsessive compulsive) I am gregarious at times and at others I'm quiet, it just depends on my company and my mood. I tend to be the kind of person you either really like or you really hate. Most folks describe me as friendly, helpful and somewhat goofy. Combine that with my tendency to drink much to much and you have the makings of wonderful person. But then again, those are the generally agreed upon sentiments of those who like me, just wait till ya' hear from those who hate me... ~wink~ ! Free Myspace Cursors

Movies:

Can't get enough of them, they tell stories when you are in a mood to listen, they teach when you are in a mood to learn and they entertain when you are in no discernable mood at all.

Television:

Books:

I aim to read as many of them as I can. "All Quiet On The Western Front",The Dark Tower Series, comics, graphic novels, and anything by Wayne Dyer or Eckart Tolle usually hit the mark.

Heroes:

Real heroes don't think of themselves as heroes nor should they. That would be needless showboating. And it's not that I don't believe in heroes, because they do indeed exist, it's that I see it as more important to BE a hero to someone than to HAVE a hereo. That said, I do have people I admire. And given enough time, I'll add as many as I can to my friends list.

Unidentified Flying Objects

UFO's, do you believe in them?  While I don't believe we could exist in this universe as big as it is and be the only intelligent life out there, one finds oneself in a sea of different possibili...
