About Me

touristik's initial members, JJ9000 and AndrÃ©, joined forces in early 2006 in the front row of an Aviation and Space Law lecture in Berlin. Since then they have recorded one, somewhat downbeat, album of laptoptronica (Electrodomesticos), which isn't available anywhere because the two didn't have the legal qualifications to negotiate copyright clearance for any of the songs.In keeping with the Berlin work ethic the band members have now decided to head off and do other things for the time being. Luckily, the band itself has developed such momentum that it's carrying on regardless. In order to keep itself in good shape touristik currently remixes itself and music from other bands which it considers "cool".
