There are probably 1 billion people on myspace and I think I know half of them. Seriously, my friend Janis says that six degrees of separation is only three degrees with me. And I have this weird habit of running into friends in bizarre places - like when I went to the Space Needle and saw Mac from AKPsi in line in front of me, or when I went to Mexico and ran into Tommy, and once I went to the Derby in LA (club where they filmed "Swingers") and saw Ina or that time when I saw Claire and later Amanda & Sami on the same trip to Disneyworld.More about me? Well, I am an Atlanta native (Alex will disagree because technically I was born in North Carolina, but moved here when I was 1, so I don't remember it...) and I grew up in Woodstock, GA and am currently living in Alpharetta, GA. I consider myself outgoing and fun and extremely lucky, although I haven't hit the powerball just yet. I met my amazing husband, Alex (Da Movie Guy), on match.com back in 1999, but did not meet in person until the next summer. We got married in December 2003 and we are enjoying life together. Ever wish really hard for something and then you get it? Wow, that is a powerful thing...I love going out with friends - dinner, movies, trivia, game night, concerts, dancing, whatever... I also love traveling. I love going to new cities, but my favorite vacation is a cruise! I would love to visit the each continent, but so far I've been to Belize, St. Martin, St. Thomas, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Canada. I also enjoy road trips and I have taken Route 66 all the way to the Grand Canyon. One of the most beautiful places I've been to is Alaska, particulary Glacier Bay. What an amazing experience! I recently turned 30 and spent my birthday swimming with stingrays. We also fed howler monkeys in Belize and saw Mayan indian pyramids in Mexico on that trip. Told you I was lucky...

My Interests

I love love love to travel. Music is my next biggest passion and it's all good as long as it's not country. I'm a big movie buff and married to a bigger movie buff, so our collection is impressive. I love to go dancing and took some classes in swing, salsa & merengue, so vamos a bailar. Team Trivia is another of my favorite pastimes and my team called Surprise I'm Your Secret Santa (we got the name from the short-lived Dana Carvey Show skit "Germans Who Say Nice Things") rocks. I'm also into photography, improv comedy, cruises, foreign languages, and history. I'm not too much into playing sports, but more so into watching them. I root for Georgia Tech, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Gwinnett Gladiators, and of course, the agony of defeat whenever the olympics are on.
