King Twins originally from Southside Jamaica Queens now residing in NC are Hip Hop in 2. Dice and Double Duce moved down to NC and begin rapping with their cousins when they were 11. Just freestyling not knowing anything about writing or recording other then a tape recorder. They stayed in trouble in school so they were always rapping about those experiences.
Later on they moved back to Queens to live with they're Grandmother and they would freestyle in the house after listening to the late night Hot 97 freestyles with G-Unit, or D-Block and anyone that came on. Other then that they were just running the streets whenever they could not thinking about music. Then they're uncle took them to Roy Wilkins Park to go see if he could put them in a sports program to get them out of trouble. Instead they end up leaving the gym and going into a room where a guy was just playing instrumentals. This guys name was G-Status. He told them to go ahead and spit something and they did. He liked it so he started coaching them and telling them when they messed up what they could've said. He gave them homework and they never got to see him again because their family didn't want them rapping so they couldn't go back. But the Home work was to write a song.
That was when they first started writing and they didn't stop cause they wanted G-Status to hear it so they kept on writing. Then they moved back to NC that next year and found a studio to record at. The kid was on some B. S. taking they're songs and putting out low profile mixtapes so the Twins wouldn't know about it. They found out and stop messing with the dude even though people were coming to them rapping their songs telling them it was hot. They got into beef and end up doing a diss record against the kid to erase his name and that's what it did. The King Twins now record in their own studio and plan on puting out mixtapes every month.
