About Me

Hello Everyone, It's been a while since I have made contact with you all due to my transition from NYC back to NC. I wrote a song for Tyler Perry's up and coming movie "Daddys Little Girls" entitled "Struggle No More". The song was recorded by "Anthony Hamilton" and will be on the movie soundtrack and also featured in the movie as well. A Remix for "Struggle No More"was also recorded on the album recorded by Anthony Hamilton, Jaheim and Musiq Soulchild. Tentavely the song will be played in the beginning of the movie and also as the end title. The soundtrack right now is set to be released January 16, 2007 and the movie will soon follow February 14.This southern boy is not a secret anymore. With tracks produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep and Havoc also featured on the street anthem Emotions. Christopher Terrell is ready to give it to you. Take a listen and feel what Christopher Terrell is bringing to mainstream America. A man with his main focus on singing and songwriting has taken New York by storm. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Christopher obtained a strong gospel music background where he started singing in the church choir at the age of five. His musical influences include Michael Jackson, Al Green, Donnie Hathaway, New Edition and Guy. He knew from an early age that he was destined for stardom and as he matured he created various male groups before going on to be the male solo artist he is today. Christophers voice and songwriting can be described as; Hes the next R. Kelly Your music is gangsta, Havoc & Prodigy of Mobb Deep. You are a dope writer, says Sean Diddy Combs and Tone of the Track Masters. I like a lot of your joints Derek D-Dot Angelette. Sexy, smooth, humble and a workaholic are adjectives that describe Christopher. Hes worked with some of the hottest names in Hip Hop & R&B music including producer Derek D-Dot Angelette, G-Units own Mobb Deep, Bad Boy producer of Making of the Band, Tony Dofat. Other top name producers that Christopher has worked with such as Coptic mostly known for work with Usher,Diddy & Black Rob, Shaft known for work with Lil Kim & Loon, Soul Diggas known for work with Missy Elliot, and Med, who produced the heart felt song Living Like A Soldier, known for work with Kurupt & Biv 10 are a few that has appreciated his talents. Also, the best engineer in the business, Steve Sola whos engineered albums for NAS, Mobb Deep, Jodeci ect., to name a few produced Eye Candy and Dont Stop. Hes also worked with Grammy Award winning artist Case, Heavy D and Bryan Leach Vice President of TVT Records. The first song on the album, Give It To Ya also features one of the hottest rappers from Queens, Tragedy Khadafi who helps introduce Christopher to the world. Christopher has performed in plays such as The Josephine Baker Story and No Compromise. As well as being on several compilation albums; the latest album in called In The Streets Of New York and was also on Littles album, The Feeding. Also he is featured in a commercial for the Metro Medical Group that presently runs daily in the New York Tri-State area. But his latest venture that WritingLife & Firstborn Entertainment has put together, the album LIVING LIKE A SOLDIER is what should be in everyones CD collection. This album is very versatile with Real songs, Real talk and Real singing. The music speaks for itself. He has already recorded over 100 songs so you can best believe this is a mere introduction. "Music from the Motion Picture: Daddy's Little Girls" Guide Rating - ****The best male performance on the album is turned in by the great - and yet still underrated - Soul singer Anthony Hamilton. He appears alongside Jaheim and Musiq Soulchild on "Struggle No More." (Hamilton also appears by himself on a different mix of the song.) The song's vocals - about the pressing ahead through life despite all the obstacles in the path are poignant, but Hamilton's golden Soul voice makes them even more meaningful. Overall, this soundtrack is good in all areas - vocally, lyrically and originality. If you're a fan of Soul and Gospel, it doesn't get much better than this.
