- WHO IS HONOR THE BRAND-
Started by Ray Liotta in a small corner of his bedroom. At the age of 18 it was a hobby that he would mess with on his down time. His real passion was graffiti and skateboarding. Him and his close friends would put together some simple designs on his retro Dell and have them made into heat transfers. As time went on the seriousness of his line changed and focus came in to play. At the age of 22 his designs and computer went to a whole new level. He felt the name was lacking something (at that time it was “Honor Clothingâ€). Knowing it wasn’t strong enough he really had to think about what he wanted his name and line to reflect. Always aware of what was going on in society and knowing the realness of the decay of kindness he wanted to send a message. Send something that people can remember and be conscious of when they see the name. He felt if you can honor one thing then your honor for everything will grow and become a part of your life. So he started with one of the first things you do in your everyday, put on your clothes, your brand. People love what they wear.†honestly sometimes you treat your favorite gear or pair of sneakers better then you treat your friends.†Knowing this, it was official. Honor The Brand was born. “I don’t want to heal the world. I just want to have something of substance instead of just a fly name with hallow designs.†Many bumpy roads have been traveled so far just to get to this point. Now at the age of 24 Honor The Brand is his full time job and passion. “If you keep pushing and staying POSITIVE something good will happen, it is a known fact of life.†The Line is nowhere close to where he wants it to be. He feels that he is still finding his position in the “Lifestyles†market and developing as a designer. Not only does he love to create and design but he also loves fashion in general. Eventually the line is going to transform and branch off into denim, cut and sew and accessories. For right now he enjoys taking his time for him and his team to perfect their crafts. “If you start out on top, the only place to go is down.â€
-WHAT IS HTB-Honor The Brand is LIFESTYLE brand that tries to incorporate everything that we as a culture love. Sneakers, underground hip hop, graffiti, skateboarding all balled up into one fre$h line. We strive to keep our line REAL. In today’s world there are so many carbon copies that just go with what is in. We at HTB have been there and done it. We have spent mad time living the life of everything we represent.
-WHERE CAN YOU GET HTB-
As of right now you can cop our line on our website (getting re-launched soon) and our myspace. We have numerous stores and boutiques that are ready to stock HTB but we as an independent company feel that it is not time to release our label. We are taking our time to figure out the exact formula that we want to jump off the brand to the public. We like the fact that we stay in the shadows as we keep growing in numbers daily. We are in no rush to put pieces out that we feel are not 100% to our satisfaction.

-WHAT IS OUR INSPIRATION-Anything from that kid killin it on his skateboard at Hollywood High to the cat that rocks beater ass joints on his feet but has a closest full of heat. Music that has substance. Artist from all over the world. Sas Christian, Saber, Revok, Sam Flores and Mark Gonzales just to name a few. Most of all, Life. The way your life can go through so many transitions. The way you can be on top of the world and within a blink of an eye you can be at your lowest.
