E.I.

E.I. formed in 1998 and has been rocking the Maritimes ever since. Based out of Fredericton New Brunswick, E.I. has been a fixture of Punk Rock in the Maritimes from small towns to the larger Urban centers, which are also small towns. Well lets see, E.I. formed outside of a Misfits show in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Our first show was opening for the Dayglo Abortions in Fredericton, N.B. at the Boyce Farmers Market. One year after we had formed we opened for the Misfits. That is pretty much the extent of "big" shows we have ever played, having insulted both bands and pissing off those promoters. Too punk for the punks. We would continue in this vein until this very day, with a dizzying rotation of various members, all of which are in our friends pages through the various bands they have formed out of disgust of having been associated with the drunken carnage that is E.I.
