I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

Sarcasm. That, in a nutshell, sums me up.

My Interests

I have a TON of interests. Unfortunately, most, if not all, I can't afford! For instance, I love hanging out with friends and (some of)my family. Usually these gettogethers involve alcohol of some sort. That is where it gets expensive! I also enjoy traveling to see friends that live in better areas than myself;)

I'd like to meet:

Well, let's see...who would I, of all people, like to meet? My God, that's a broad question. However, let me try and tackle it, shall I? OK then, I'd like to meet all sorts of people. I'm really not that choosey. Unfortunately, I am one of those monsterous people that have an opinion, good or bad, about pretty much anyone. So, having come clean on that aspect, I should leave it to those willing to place themselves under my lense as to whether or not they would like to meet me! I am, of course, not saying that I am above ridicule, opinion, speculation, and the occasional envy. I'm just one opinionated peckerhead. For the most part, as long as I am treated fairly I should only hope to return the favor. As for famous people...I have been fortunate enough in my life to meet a few. Having mentioned this I have come to the conclusion that famous people are short! Yes, I know this may startle some but I think it's pretty much a universal fact. However, far be it from me to turn down an invite from someone famous. Perhaps some lovely lady that would like a hired companion. Yes, I realize that it's not exactly a buyer's market when I enter the equation. Just let me dream...

Music:

Everything except gangsta rap or any rap for that matter. Oh, I almost forgot...I can't stand Kid Rock! In my opinion he's a waste of space.

Movies:

It really depends on my mood as to what I will watch. It ranges from independent films to blockbusters. From "Spaceballs" to "Braveheart" (which is the best movie of ALL TIME). From "The Libertine" to "Clue." From "Trainspotting" to "Bedknobs and Broomsticks." From "Brighton Beach Memoirs" to "Gosford Park." From "Napoleon Dynamite" (before it became all mainsteam) to "Rebecca." I guess one could say that I'm an ecclectic sonofabitch.

Television:

If had the time to watch it I would. However, I never seem to have enough time so...

Books:

I'm a freak with history so pretty much anything of historical importance interests me. The best book so far was "Peter the Great" by Robert K. Massie. I know that may seem BORING but holy shit that was good! The latest book that I've read was "The Kiterunner." Everyone should read that book!

Heroes:

My heroes, as cheesey as it may sound, are my family and friends for numerous reasons. The main reason is that if they can put up with my moodiness and weirdness (in various forms) and still admit they are either related to or know me then, hell, they deserve freaking medals! Oh, and Aquaman seems pretty damn cool...

My Blog

Bar Etiquette 101

I believe the time has come to "edjamacate," or at least attempt to, people about several do's and don'ts while in a bar-like atmosphere.  So, this is my take on the subject of Bar Etiquette 101...

Damn, this crow tastes like butt!

As most know, I am not a fan of rap music.  In fact, I've gone so far as to say that rap sucks serious shit.  For whatever reason I have never gotten into it.  I've always considered my...

Roughing it...Ian style!

Backwoods birthday parties have proved to be really interesting. This past Saturday I attended a birthday for a friend's four year old.  Normally I would roll my eyes and cringe at the thought of...

Dine & Dash: Not just for teenagers...

This past Saturday/Sunday was, to say the least, a bit of an adventure. Saturday nights have become beer-pong night at a friend's house.  We bring the beer and he supplies the pong supplies. ...

Damn you Roger Daltry!

More proof that living downtown is abit freaky...to say the least. Last night when I got home from a REALLY long day at work I noticed there was a woman waiting for the elevator.  (Seeing how I h...

Oh, me!

During a brief downtime at work today (i.e. phones NOT ringing) I thought that instead of looking at friend's friends pages (got that?) that I would look at their blogs as well.  This proved to b...

Well, now I'm old AND fat!

It's finally happened.  Just when I've come to grips with the fact that I am 31, I get a rude awakening that, not only am I old(ish), I am also fat! Call it whatever you want, pudgy, portly,...

Ty Pennington sucks shit.

A good friend told me that I was over due for a blog.  So this is it... I STRONGLY dislike Ty Pennington and his show.  I like to think that I am not the only person out there who feels this...

"Moody...party of one"

Have you ever felt as if you were standing on a busy sidewalk screaming your head off and everyone around you doesn't hear or, worse, doesn't see you?  That's been me lately. There I am, screamin...
