Hello, My name is Sylvain[11/1987], I'm coming from Guadeloupe (French West Indies).
I began to play piano at the age of 6 with Clotaire Marboeuf and Normand Devault, the Soprano Saxophone at 9 with Jean-Claude Descieux and Jocelyn Menard before starting to play Alto Saxophone.
I did a jazz workshop at the age of 15 in Barcelonette and saw master classe of Elvin Jones, and worked under the direction of Pierrick Pedron and Guillaume Naturel.
Since September 2005 I moved to Paris where I studies Jazz with André Villeger, and Ear Training with Pierre Carrié, at Conservatoire (joining directly the last level in saxophone).
I've been lucky to performed and recorded(*) with:
