"FRIENDS " comes to us from the French West Indies island , La Guadeloupe .
Some long-time friends put one common their big passion for the music . They quite naturally privileged on this album, the sounds of Islands (zouk, compas, of Guadeloupe and Haiti). More than this realization in itself, it is a real concept which was born, advancing the friendship.FRIENDS consists of music lovers, amateurs and professional musicians.
Hardly of the big solidarity and the big complicity which(who) animate them, they meet regularly to discuss friendly of things of the life, and also to listen to and to play the music. Their influences are varied and do not still limit themselves in local musics, they also like the the blues, the soul music , the jazz, the salsa, R&B , Dance Hall,,,,,,the reggea ,the Rock music,,,,Through all these exchanges, Joel THENARD an amateur musician ,discovered the big passion of Max PELISSIER for the music. He suggested him a day , to introduce him to the programming job . And so , without playing any instrument, Max knew with programmation how to arouse the interest of his friends to develop his ideas .
We can say that the album " FRIENDS " exists with the big contribution of Willy SALZEDO and Joel THENARD to the keyboard, Michel PIOCHE, and Sophrony DORSE in the singing(song), Patrick PAROLE and Jean-Claude DAMPROBE in the guitar..Without forgetting two magnificent young interpreters in the singing(song) and the choirs, Florence NAPRIX and Willy ROUSSEAU.To finalize the project , some other long-time accomplices accepted their participation. We want to speak of Stéphane CASTRY and Michel ALIBO in the bass, Jean-Philippe FANFANT to the battery(drum kit).Five among these muscians , are professionnals and are known in the world of the music. They however accepted with a big sympathy to participate in this small local and friendly project.Jean-Philippe FANFANT (a Drummer of ANDI NARELL musician of Jazz , known all over the world for his "Steel-band" play ) . The famous drummer of Jazz, Billy COBHAM dedicated an article in the press on Jean-Philippe .Stephane CASTRY (a bass player of ANGELI KIJO).Michel ALIBO (ex bass player of MANU DI BANGO, Youssou N'DOURE, SIXUN).Patrick PAROLE, is often called by the big Haitian groups of New York and other to play guitare. And finally Willy SALZEDO the keyboard and the director, has already turned(shot) with one of the most famous music and oldest groups West Indian in Europe , THE CREOLE COMPANY .
With the influence of these musicians we shall find in certain fragments of the songs , some light winks in the Jazz , Soul (Ex: FANM SOLID), and also in the sounds of Africa ( GWADA EN NOU). Max PELISSIER the designer of the project suggests listening to five titles and the Vidéo clip of SANS EMOTION on Myspace .
