I love boating - we have a ski boat and a sailboat.
I also love camping (sort of - we have a small RV trailer), gardening, reading, cooking and the Internet (the greatest development in my lifetime).

Love all kinds of music from New Age to Rap, although I think my least favorite is classic rock (I'd rather live in the present).
Happiness, Content, Joy.
The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.
Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.
The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
My favorite movie is Love Actually. The intro with the families and friends greeting, hugging and kissing at the airport makes me cry every time. Others that top my list are: Pulp Fiction, Hotel Rwanda, Traffic, In Her Shoes, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Under the Tuscan Sun, Playing by Heart, Quills... just to name few.
I became addicted to Starting Over when I caught it one day while I was eating lunch -- tivo'd it ever since and will miss it when it goes off the air. I have my tivo set to record (not in any particular order): Survivor, The Apprentice, Anthony Bourdain - No Reservations, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Grey's Anatomy and Hardball with Chris Matthews.
How Stella Got Her Groove Back, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Interruption of Everything, What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day and anything by John Grisham (especially A Time to Kill)
A hero is someone who moves beyond fear
towards battles his heart has to win,
who conquers not so much with forceful bravado;
but by summoning strength from within.
A hero is someone whose sense of what's right
propels him as nothing else could,
and when he performs beyond all of his dreams;
it is selflessly for other's good.
It is not within him to carry revenge
nor to boast of victories won,
but to quietly face every new challenge;
doing what needs to be done.
And even if fate deals him less than fair hands,
he plays them with fairness of heart
for it is an inherent goodness within
that sets a hero apart.
So with that in mind, my heroes are:
First, my husband, Tom. Living with me for 38 years has not been easy. He has loved me even at my most unlovable and has taught me the meaning of unconditional love more than anyone in my life.
My two sons, Mike and Chris. They both grew to be loving men with generous hearts inspite of my failings as a mom.
Former President Bill Clinton for his amazing mind (not morals).
Maya Angelou for her mesmorizing voice and her ability to express people's souls so clearly.
Mother Theresa for her patience and altruism.
