About Me

************************************************************ ***************************You've come this far so I guess you maybe do want to know a little more about me. Do you trust me? Am I just another cyber space criminal hiding behind fake photo... Anyhows, hi to those I know already and welcome to those who accidentally fell or stumbled onto MY space... For those of you who really want to know a little more about me, here goes. I was born in New York City from a Russian mother and British father in the year 1979. Relationships between the two countries weren't what I'd call so friendly but somehow a few English Tadpoles broke through the iron curtain and met the russian egg. Yes I say tadpole so as not to offend the politically correct but all this just to say that two anglo ruskies were born 7 and a half months later. Yes you-ve guessed, I am a twin... His profile is among my friends list, you can-t miss him he looks just a tiny bit like me... HI NICK. Allthough I was born in the swinging seventies, allbeit the end of that magnificantly diverse decade (not), I can't really say I have that much in common with your typical 70's psychadelic hippy. It's not really up my steet.. I moved to Switzerland at the tender age of 11 months although I can't really confirm whether tender is the appropriate word, as I've never been of cannibalistic nature. I have two young children, Anastasia (3 1/2) and Emma (10 Months) but I must say I wouldn-t choose them if they were on the menu. I'll skip the whole I grew up in a loving family with a twin brother (you knew that anyway.. or at least you do now if you didn-t fll asleep in the intro...) My love for music started at a really young age, banging on pretty much anything possible with anything possible, pots, pans, tables, my brother, my cousin Alisa (sorry for the bruises)... I then moved on to play the tennis rackets, covering songs from the like of Bruce Springsteen's born in the USA or Elton John's Crocodile Rock... Yes I did tell you... but make sure you don't tell anyone... shhhhh, it's embarassing. I can't say I was ever really in sync with anyone around me... While my school friends were all dancing to the likes of 2live Crew (or however you spell that) and humping the floor at the school dances and shouting "hmmm so horny" in front of gobsmacked teachers (yes, they were only 12), I was more into the likes of iron maiden, guns and roses, megadeath (transalted megamort in french...) sorry to break the flow again but have you ever tried that? litterally translating band names or expressions into foreign languages... its quite fun. (how lame).. I then got into the likes of NERVANA (american pronunciacion) or NIRVANA (french pronunciation) and Confiture de Pearles (Pearl Jam for those of you who need a translation....). By this time I had the weirdest clothes, long hair, braces (how sexy) and spots all over my face... I hear you cry... It was at the age of 15 when I first went to bording school that I cut my hair, started wearing a suit to go to class that I became a really good boy... Oh so they thought ( my parents that is )... in my first year at bording school I came home with three tatoos, my tongue pierced, a habit of sneaking out to go and see girls in the girls dorms, and a weekly wednesday night sneek to Brighton to visit the mad clubbing scene... This is where I got my first taste of Electronic music and dare I say, once I tasted it, I never went back... At this time I knew what I wanted to do... I had been playing music for years and knew I wanted out of school and get serious with music... So I studied sound engineering and became passionate about synths, drum machines, sequencers, My MPC and dare I say I've been hooked ever since. I hope you take time to listen to a few of the tracks, they are all pretty old as I've been without a studio for 2 years but they reflect the kind of vibe i'm into, I am currently setting up my new creative space which is what I usually refer to as MY SPACE and it-s two minutes from home. I hope you enjoy what I produce ..............E L E K T R O N I C , C O M P U T E R - C O N T R O L L E D - R O B O T - M U S I CKeep posted for some more tracks coming soon.
