About Me

I could certainly tell you a story or two. Sane, fun, smiley, like to listen to how other people's days are spent. Is that over plural? Get tired of hearing myself speak (job hazard), conference calls drive me nuts when they run to long, my dad will not get a miracle ear and he loves music, my sister and I are starting to look MORE alike, I started grinding my teeth HARDER, people with blue tooth ear gizmos make me barf. I like science, the beach, watching people trip, and the fact I quit smoking.I am a music executive, have many hobbies, I am interested, conversation savvy, and love to meet people outside my finite industry. I think Chris Angel mindfreak is a tool, Conan O'buttnut does not make me laugh, neither does Jay Leno (Peppi LePeau). This sounds negative and cynical--I do my best not to be that way, and generally am not. HOWEVER, If you like Chris Freak Pants or Everybody loves Raymond, we probably shouldn't hang.

My Interests

A ZILLION--In no particular order, motorcycles, poker, music, magic, dining, beaching, drumming, beer cans, fish, planets, string theory, gravitational lens analysis, weather, brains, micro-electronics, how things are made, books about drugs (don't use'm-like reading about'em), comets, Q, time, geology, stones, gas.

NOT YOUR BAND. Sorry peeps, I listen to a lot of bands. Please take me off the short list. People outside of the music business. Better yet....I will tell you who you should meet.1). Music:

GALLOWS--CARE BEARS ON FIRE---Rocket From The Crypt (RIP), Deadbolt, BRMC, CASH, SONIC YOUTH, TRAIL OF DEAD, FUGAZI, SHADOWY MEN, COCKTAILS, THE GO, MOONEY SUZUKI, I am in this business, so let me tell you over a cocktail. Cool? NO? Ok...Beatles, Archers, GBV, SLOAN, SONIC YOUTH, SEAWEED...Call me...K?

Movies:

Dune, High Fidelity, SCI FI anything, Oceans 11--13. I am a sucker for ALL MARVEL COMIC flix. I go in waves with movies, sometimes I see many, sometimes I don't. I like docu-dramas, and that Olive girl in lil miss sunshine really inspires me.

Television:

I admit, I watch my share of boob. I primarily watch PBS, Poker shows, Motorcycle shows,Discovery channel JUNKY. DIRTY JOBS? CRAB FREAKS? HOW IT'S MADE? I do watch Project Runway...I tend to shy away from popular reality shows. And detest wheel of fortune and Everyone hates Raymond. I don't watch much network television. I do like the Office (BBC) and IFC and Sundance. This sounds stuffy, but anything that depicts American's in pleated pants trying to win a cruise, or stiffs eating snake parts....I'm out. Also, that Chris Angel Mindfreak guy is really making me mad. OH! Simon Colwell is 99% correct 99% of the time.

Books:

Poker books, Sci Fi, music bio's, Business books, all the stuff on the NYT bestseller list. I don't read OPRAH stuff. Not because HARPO is wrong, I simply don't allow TV/Entertainment people dictate how I entertain myself.

Heroes:

My Parents did a pretty good job. My sister is cool. Johnny Cash, Jean Luc Picard, Paul Mcartney. John Bennett, Some music execs that I will not name, Irene Jordan.
