Myspace LayoutsTahitiPetey Mermaids (formerly our StarFish Girls) are an important part of the TahitiPetey Foundation global marine awareness and educational strategy. The Girls add a sexy, fun and elegant twist to our promotional efforts, and will play an important roll in establishing our signature Adopt-A-Fish college scholarship program.
Petey and the Mermaids will attend scheduled foundation and celebrity events, industry-related trade shows, and global environmental conferences to promote the TahitiPetey Foundation and our many branded companies products or services. In late 2007 you will also be able to see them in their own made for television reality series, called Petey and The Mermaids, as well as a fun new environmental education themed animation series for children by the same name.Our Mermaids are not just pretty faces; however, they are smart, well educated ladies capable of answering most questions about the Foundation and its overall goals. They each have a dedicated project or event they oversee on behalf of the Foundation, and they work together to promote the importance of saving our oceans wherever they go, A brief bio of the our Mermaids is provided below.The Foundation will also be developing a line of unique TahitiPetey Mermaid signature apparel and accessories, including a cool line of swim wear which will be sold in the Foundation’s online store (coming in April), on the web sites of our branded companies and within most TahitiPetey Travel Cafes and Island Lifestyle retail stores, plus other resort gift shop locations worldwide.
