Summer, 2001: A few music lovers got together and started a "jam night" at their church, inviting all of those that play an instrument to come and play. Those that came on a consistent basis became the core members/founders of what would become the band Unplugged. The name was taken from Romans 12:2, "Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect." The members practiced in Brendan's (drums) garage, building a repertoire of praise & worship standards.Winter 2001: A ministry is formed around the music, meeting Wednesday nights with praise & worship and an uplifitng message, testimony, or Bible study. The ministry would become known as L.Y.T.E.house, the acronym meaning "Leading You To Eternity." The symbol of a Lighthouse was chosen because it is a beacon for sailors to let them know that they are near shore. Like that beacon, the ministry would serve to let the people know that Christ is near, and to give them a guide to the path of eternal life.Present Day: The band's name is now LYTEhouse, and the ministry still going. The message and mission have never changed: to bring God's love to those who do not have a relationship with Him, to help those with a relationship with God strengthen that bond, and to praise His name through the language of music.LYTEhouse..Music.Message.Movement.Every Wednesday @ 7:00 PM
