About Me
First off, call me Bren, Beats, or B, I answer to any of those names. I love life, I love adrenaline, I love music, I love hangin with my peeps and schooling kids in the art of the water fight. Ummmm, let's see, what else, oh yeah. MUSIC is a beautiful thing, people. I dont need any of those chemicals, just give me my cds or my drum set and Im golden. It flows through my veins, and the drumsticks are just an extension of me, and if I don't have the drumsticks in my hands, then I'm tapping on my desk. Just ask anyone who knows me; theyll tell you how much I love it [theyll also tell you how good I am, but dont listen to that, cuz Im not that good]. Music pretty much defines who I am as a person, but you still need to get to know me to understand it. And believe me, you ask me a question, any question, about drums and/or music, and i will talk your ear off. I am just that passionate about my craft. Many influences/favorites, that range in the musical spectrum: Animal [yes, the Muppet, he rules!], Lars Ulrich, John Otto, ?uestlove, Buddy Rich, Max Roach, Gene Krupa, Mike Portnoy, Louie Bellson [without him, there would be no double-bass, and we have to have double-bass], Rob Bourdon [anyone who has to share the music with a dj and drum machine gets major respect in my book], Chad Smith, John Bonham, Dave Grohl, Travis Barker, Alex Van Halen, Phil Collins, Jose Pasillas, Carter Beauford, and this list is longer than I thought so Im just gonna stop now. Theres more to me, just gotta talk to me to find out, for I am a man of mystery and intrigue.......No I'm not, but I thought that it sounded good.
