Sounds Like: Punk rock meets prog dance, dark-side jazz, acid etched neo-melodic riffs for the beautifully disillusioned. Mark plays a '65 Hofner semi through a Laney (uk) all valve head, which he can make sing or f*ckin scream, he uses a Boss delay, Flange and Tube distortion....(we like effects). Martin G plays a 1970 Gretch jazz kit, pimped to rock standards; jazz tone played with impact. Darwin Dee plays a delicious J&D Brothers through-neck 4 string bass into a Californian Acoustic Research amp, hear (and feel) the wood! John's vocal chords are all his own, a rich and clear voice, he writes thoughtful original lyrics which draw their influence from the post 9/11 experience of being. Can sound like a mix between surf punk and acid rock.
