I like dancing. And getting back into a warm bed after going to the toilet in the middle of a cold night. And making soup. I am partial to exploring the comedy, creativity and downright silliness that sleep deprivation tends to inspire. I like to induce said sleep deprivation by laughing raucously and drunkenly with my best friends and/or jigging about like a loon to wonderful music. I like gin. I like it a lot. It gives me ginspiration. I am currently exploring ways to fuse my love of words with my opinions on the world, so far this has resulted in MC Salindrome – coming soon to a microphone nowhere near you. I love it though, and people say I’m good, but not the best they’ve ever met.
I like taking photographs, some of which you can see on this page, if you give a shit. I’m interested in places, faces, lights and sights....abstract weirdness and black and white portraits float my proverbial boat, and I am soon to get over my technophobic ways once and for all and purchase one of these digital malarkeys. All hell could break loose. I can’t wait.
I am part of an almighty crew of talented folk and ridiculous headcases collectively known as Vibrations. Our soundsystem is lovely and we play brilliant music. See myspace.com/vibrationshome for more. Over the years we’ve worked with some of the damn finest DJ's, VJ's, bands, perormance artists and fine folk this little island has to offer. I do the communications and shizzle, and also tend to represent hard on the dancefloor.
As well as raving, I quite like ranting, and using this public platform to raise awareness of issues such as - www.no2id.net and www.freewestpapua.org. Apathy is beige, don't let it attack.
I love my part-time job at a a charity, a therapeutic arts community here in Bristol, supporting people with mental health issues and drug/alcohol dependencies. To be surrounded by art, and creative people from all walks of life makes every working day a pleasure, even if I am just a dogsbody. I also volunteer at a night shelter for the homeless.
