About Me

Hello,I'm an aspiring Travel presenter with some good ideas up my sleeve for new TV programmes, which I'm currently pitching to various Media Agents and Production Companies. I recently worked for a Press Agency in Liverpool as a freelance features writer. I managed to get two of my articles published in a National paper and bagged myself a by line too.I studied Dance, Drama and Music at a Stage School near London. After 5 years of professional training (and a lot of blood, sweat and tears) I secured various jobs in TV, Film and Theatre.I am currently working for an Events agency doing a lot corporate hospitality at big sporting events like Wembley, Wimbledon, Twickenham. I met Prince William last year and escorted him on to the Wembley turf.I love watching TV and Films, a good gripping drama, nothing too slushy! I like to come away with an after-thought. I have been in a couple of TV productions including Casualty, Teachers and Bodies. I doubled for Tamsin Outhwaite in Walk Away and I Stumble (ITV drama). I've also had lead roles in independant short films.I am quite a spiritual person and believe in treating people how I want to be treated myself. I believe in Karma - if you give out good, it comes right back at ya. I don't believe in coincidences and think that everything happens for a reason.

My Interests

Travelling, gym, reading, dancing, music, drinking with my friends in cool bars, eating out, cinema, snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving, driving (although not in rush hour), buying new clothes, shoes, bags..shoes!

Music:

My taste varies greatly. Started getting into music at the age of 10 when I had a passion for Hip Hop. Neneh Cherry was my ultimate heroine, and still is. I finally got to meet her 2 years ago. Monie Love, Salt and Pepper, De la Soul. My taste then went mainstream pop, not very credible but I was into Kylie, Danni, Take That! When I reached my 20's I got into dance music and that has stayed with me to date. I love Hed Kandi and MOS tunes, pumpin on my stereo! Big-up to Tara McDonald who wrote 'Feel the Vibe' for Axwell and the 'My My MY' remix for Van Helden and also The Feeling for their current success, both fellow BRIT attendees. Also loving Lucie Silvas, Madonna, Lewis Taylor, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child, John Legend and Jack Johnson. So you'll agree, a real mixture!

Movies:

Most of Al Pacino's but mainly - The Devils Advocate, Frankie and Johnny, Scarface, The Godfather Trilogy. Robert De Niro's - Ronin, Meet the Fockers, Great Expectations, Casino, Goodfellas, Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise (Swoon), Seven and Fight Club.I love Martin Scorsesse's films really - The Departed, The Aviator, Gangs of NY, Casino, Cape Fear, Goodfellas, The Color of Money, Raging Bull. Action and drama. Recently discovered Swingers by Doug Liman; hillarious. 'You're so fuckin money baby and you don't even know it'. The only romantic 'weepies' i like are Romeo and Juliet by Baz Lurman, Pretty Woman, When a Man Loves a Woman, City of Angels and my all time favourite - Ghost.

Television:

Loving the ITV dramas. They have been commissioned well. Must say I am partial to a bit of Home and Away, just love to dream of being on Summer Bay beach with the sand between my toes! Wouldn't mind meeting Kim or Jesse (old cast) either 'Helllooooo!' Ding dong..

Books:

Life on the Other Side - Sylvia Browne, The Celestine Prophesy - James Redfield, The Tenth Insight - James Redfield, Mutant Message From Down Under - Marlo Morgan, The Silent Stones - Diana Cooper, A Little Light on the Spiritual Laws - Diana Cooper, Many Lives Many Masters - Brian L Weiss, Way of the Peaceful Warrior - Dan Millman. Basically anything that can teach me something. I like to read about people's spiritual journeys, it fascinates me.
