AND IN THE END THE LOVE YOU TAKE IS EQUAL TO THE LOVE YOU MAKE

About Me

A native Angeleno and CSUN grad, I worked in a variety of positions culminating as a staff writer in the editorial department of Daily Variety. I even dabbled in the music biz for about a minute (it was actually a year --- hard to believe because it went by so quickly!!!), producing an Al Jolson CD for Warner Bros. Records. Rights issues doomed the project but I did receive an advance royalty that paid the bills for a while. In the process I met Eddie Fisher who related to me everything that WASN'T in his two books about Liz, Debbie et al. One more thought on the doomed Jolson Project: It was a brilliant experience that got me on the Warner Bros. lot ever single day and I met some of the most interesting people one can possibly imagine --- although the end result proved to be a disappointment, I wouldn't trade that year for any year I've lived before or since. I love and appreciate all kinds of music ranging from Al Jolson and the Beatles to Rock and Hip Hop --- and everything in between. I equally appreciate all forms of art ranging from George Hurrell's studio portraits to Andy Warhol's creations. I like Major League Baseball and the National Football League and follow the exploits of the Phillies and Eagles (thanks to my dad for inculcating me as a Philly sports fan --- here in Los Angeles yet! --- at a very tender age!). I believe strongly in physical fitness and a balanced lifestyle. I've lived an interesting and fortunate life --- from standing on the Red Carpet at the Oscars to dining on Perch at a private country club in Geneva --- working in a newsroom environment with some incredibly bright and talented people. Yet --- I find that meeting interesting, compelling people; exchanging ideas, making a difference in this world and fostering growth promoting ideas bring rewards that cannot be underestimated. I'm usually friendly but sometimes prickly --- I like being around creative people, funny people, crazy people. This just in --- I recently completed a mid-life career change and now serve as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker. I'm enjoying it despite the real estate slump. Uh oh --- I see a bread line ahead...
