About Me

Layout Created at KillerKiwi.net
I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and spent most of my life there. I took on the responsibility of raising three children and taking care of my parents. Now that my children are grown and my parents are being professionally cared for, I have been blessed after all these years with the opportunity to finally move to Nashville. I guess old dreams never die. I spend every day writing songs, playing lead guitar and trying to learn as much as I possibly can. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to open for and perform with many Nashville stars and my band has been featured on the nationwide syndicated Chris Conn radio show. I have written several songs for Cledus T. Judd that was featured on his last three albums. (Willie's Got A Big Deck/Cledus Envy Album) (One Jack Off/Bi-polar and Proud Album) that song happens to be about a card game so get your mind out of the gutter and (I Want a New Car and This is My Crowd/Six Pack of Judd Album). Other cuts include You Play Like Chet (The Tootsies Orchid Lounge First Commemorative Album) and (Gerald Smith's Hit Happens Album.) I regularly play lead guitar for artists such as Brad Martin, Rob Gray, Scott Hisey and my daughter, Amanda as well as others. I have also played behind Tanya Tucker, Tracy Byrd and Blake Shelton and I play lead for an all girl band called, Broadband. In addition to this, I still have my own band in Indiana called Paula Jo Taylor and Legacy of which my daughter, Amanda is featured in as lead vocalist. My band will still play when I'm up home and Amanda and I continute to perform with my Dad as well at nursing homes and other such facilities.
