Born and raised in Missouri, Bill picked up a guitar at the age of 16 and wrote his first song. Currently residing in Cincinnati with residence in Nashville, Bill is a songwriter/stand up comic/comedy script writer and performer. And he is co-writing a movie script about his first experience as a radio broadcaster in Bowling Green, Missouri with good friend and co-writer Roger Naylor.
Bill is a CMA Award winning broadcaster working for over 25 years in radio starting at small market stations in Missouri and major markets in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Indianapolis and Nashville. The radio stations include KPCR in Bowling Green, Missouri, KWRE Warrenton, Missouri. WUBE Cincinnati, WMIL Milwaukee, WFMS Indianapolis and WSM-FM in Nashville. B105.1 Cincinnati is his current broadcast home.
His performing career these days is comedy-song based. He has worked at comedy clubs and other venues with Heywood Banks, Larry The Cable Guy and Jeff Dunham to name a few.
His songs have been recorded by Cledus T. Judd, Linda Davis, Brent Burns, Johnny Nace, Karen Wheeler and others. And he has written with Billy Dean, Keith Anderson, Linda Davis, Bobby Tomberlin, Brian White, Steve Dean, Wil Nance, Lisa Shaffer, Blake Mevis, Jerry Marcum and others.
