Lots of different styles, except I can't stand rap. Favorite singers/groups at this moment are: Michael Buble, Eva Cassidy, Steve Tyrell, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Monheit, and The Manhatten Transfer. Also enjoy Carpenters, early Elvis, and of course the group who started my real love for music...The Beatles! I love rock, jazz, showtunes, standards, and some country. a
Geez, too many to name. I love musicals from the 50's and 60's and romantic comedies the best. I also like comedies like Mel Brooks movies such as Young Frankenstein and High Anxiety. I love the Christopher Guest mockumentaries-- Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and The Mighty Wind. I still enjoy Disney movies, too!
Classic shows: Bewitched (one of my faves), That Girl, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Andy Griffith Show, The Mod Squad, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and most of the old variety shows from the 60's. Other shows: The Wonder Years, thirtysomething, My So-Called Life, Once and Again, Seinfeld, Friends, Will & Grace, and my guilty pleasure...Full House. New Shows: Desperate Housewives, Lost, American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, and my new favorite show, Grey's Anatomy. Also love HGTV and Food Network.
Mostly "cozy" mysteries and Southern fiction. Some of my favorite authors are Sue Grafton, Gemma Halliday,Fannie Flagg, Louise Shaffer, Billie Letts, Dorothea Benton Frank, Kris Raddish, Janet Evanovich, Laura Levine, Earlene Fowler, Rosemary Martin, and J.A. Jance.
