History:
ExtremeDrumming.net started as a humble personal website directed by the hand of Nagrath. Another fellow drummer by the alias of DoomAxe crossed paths and started to talk with Nagrath. After a few weeks of chatting, DoomAxe came up with an idea of expanding the little website, adding a bigger layout, forums, and a new URL. Thus, "ExtremeDrumming.com" was born. Our following grew fast, and attracted famous drummers such as Hellhammer, Tim Waterson, and recent addition of Asgeir Mickelson. EMD was eventually changed to ExtremeDrumming.net when we switched servers. Later last year, DoomAxe enlisted into the US Army, and Nagrath started to grow more busy and prominant with his band, Abythos.
Here, almost three years later, EMD continues to flourish with new members every day, and a large community of knowlede. Extremedrumming.net, built by extreme drummers for extreme drummers!

IMPORTANT
It's come to our attention that many of you are adding us and then proceeding to send us messages (or leave comments) asking if you "qualify for a spot". If you are a drummer that we feel qualifies to have an "Ask Me" section on the EDN forums, then we will ask YOU if you'd be interested. Don't come running to us asking if we'll give you a 'spot'. Therefore, the "listen to my band to see if I'm good enough" comments are unnecessary and will be ignored.
