Born in Montreal in 1978, L'Mel discovers her passion for dancing in 2001, when she stated taking dance classes with Shauna Roberts. "At the beginning it was hard because I didn't know how to dance at all, but then Shauna trained me to be a dancer."A year later, L'Mel becomes the administrative assistant to the Shauna Roberts Dance Company, and the year after that she becomes a full fledge member of the dance troop G-Stars, " I did my first show in 2003, and I was very nervous, but I really liked the experience, I will never forget the show. Shauna had called it The Grim Reapers!!! (see photo)".In 2004, Shauna told the members of her dance company about the audition for Culture Shock (a very well know association around the world, but mainly in the United States) L'Mel and 9 other dancers of G-Stars went to the audition, "We all went to the audition. I didn't want to leave Shauna because I loved her class so much, but I finally succeed at the audition for CS were I started in January 2004 while I continued talking classes with Shauna. I have done 5 shows including one for Mercedez Benz for the Kermesse Formula 1, St-Laurence Centre of Arts Toronto and the National Centre of Arts Ottawa."Today, L'Mel is Shauna Roberts's assistant choreographer and member of the G-Stars Group.
