Welcome to the U.S. Recovery Bureau (USRB), a leading bail enforcement agent training school. We have regional training centers located in NJ and NY and we conduct off-site classes in PA and other states. New Agents that are willing and ready to take the challenge in the World of Bail Enforcement.Our Certified instructors discuss, in detail, the law that governs our industry; "Taylor vs. Taintor"- United States Supreme Court - 1873 - 16 Wall. 366. The bail bond contract, as it applies to Bail Enforcement Agents, is also explained. In reality, the defendant agrees to being apprehended when he or she signs the bail bond contract. What You'll LearnThe 30 hour course of instruction also covers the following topics of instruction:How to obtain work as a Bail Enforcement Agent and the compensation for your efforts. How to find the skip (failure to appear) and the procedure for making the arrest. This includes the procedures for working with the local police department and how to obtain their support. How to locate and apprehend a skip that has left the United States. Self defense and the "explanation of reasonable force" The laws that govern the carrying and use of handgun. Certification in the use of handcuffs, the baton, and pepper spray; the tools of our trade.
