Influences: When beginning his musical journey, Jimmy listened to everything. He was influened mostly by Barry White, Al Jarreau, Lionel Richie, Dionne Warwick to name a few. He also spent many hours listening to Stevie Wonder, Peter Frampton and Led Zepplin. Jimmy has a wide range of musical interests. A few of his current favorites include Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Beyonce.
Sounds Like: Many have compared Jimmy's vocals and musical stylings to the likes of Luther Vandross, James Ingram, Lionel Richie, Al Jarreau and Ron Isley to name a few but, there's always been that detectable Jimmy ROLAND! sound.
