THE ART OF FALLING APART

About Me

Roxy was born in Aspen, Colorado to a musician father and an artist mother. She grew up on stage, starting to sing with her father as soon as she could talk. In her early teens she performed regularly with her father and the band of young musicians he mentored and quickly gained notoriety in town. During her years in Aspen she was availed of the opportunity to perform with many acts who were passing through including Blues Traveler, Merl Saunders, Derek Trucks, Maceo Parker, John Denver and Buddy Miles. After moving to New York in 1998 she formed Lick, a heavy rock band that played in New York and toured the east coast for five years. Eventually she left the band to play solo. With only her guitar, her voice and her songs she continued to play and build a following in New York until 2007.In July of 2007 Roxy moved to Switzerland and spent six months playing her music around Europe. She performed in Switzerland, Italy and Holland. She wrote 16 new songs and recorded a new album. Now back in New York she continues to play out regularly.
