FIRST OF ALL, BETWEEN THIS BOX AND THE IMAGE OF THE HEADPHONES BELOW, YOU WILL FIND THE LINKS TO ADD ME, MESSAGE ME, AND WHATEVER YOU USUALLY DO ON MYSPACE. Some people have had trouble finding those links on this layout for some reason.**SCROLL DOWN IN THIS BOX FOR BIO**Anyway, the name is Knowledge, and KNOWLEDGE IS HIP HOP... no matter what way you look at it. Others call me Zee, there's even some who know my government, but who really cares about them right? HAHA... I honestly believe I try my hardest to live up to the name Knowledge, and I try to put something meaningful in everything I do. Whether it's the track or cd as a whole, a single verse, or even just a line... I can almost promise you that there is something in every single rhyme that you can relate to, open your eyes to, or an issue that needs to be addressed, and maybe I feel like I am the only one who cares enough to bring it up. Other than that, I do this shit for the high it gives me. I don't know of anything more satisfying than droppin' a gem on the fans from time to time, and seeing what comments they leave in return. Knowing that someone likes a track of mine enough to comment on it afterwards, proves to be the inspiration I need to keep me doin' it... Not to mention I love doing this. I think I'm gonna do this hip hop shit until I'm gray in the wheelchair, because the issues will continue to pile up until well after I'm dead, so why not address some of this shit, ya feel me?So I'm a lyrical music-lover out of Maryland, and I represent MD to the fullest. I've got love for all my C-Dub peeps, even though they been trying to split the hood up lately, we never die, but we definitely multiply. On a larger scale, I'm on a mission to put MD, and the DMV on the map. I know that Wale did his thing with the Nike Boots single, and I appreciate the exposure our area could try to capitalize on, but honestly I feel like there is so much more to our area than what he stands for, it's almost like he sold out in my opinion. Not to talk down on the guy, because he is doin' his thing for sure, but I really dissect the situation when it comes to how I feel about artists and music, and I just think he's not showing the area the love that he should be. At least, not the love that most people from this area probably would show if they made it to that point. It seems like he isn't even reaching out in the area to try to bring anyone to the front line, or show anyone the ropes by introducing them to the right person. Anyway, enough of that, I just rep the DMV like it is, and for those who don't already know... D-M-V stands for the D.C., MD, & VA area, and we are all about to come together on some unite for hip hop type shit, so watch out. There is so much musical talent out here, you could never get tired of it, on the real. We got the Go-Go scene, that's been goin' strong since the 50's or somethin'... and if you ain't heard about it yet, definitely check it out, not just for the music, but that party scene is off the hook. We got the club scene locked down in D.C. & B-more, that shit's crazy as fuck too! But we have an unlimited amount of lyrical talent, producers, engineers, singers, song writers... you name it, we got thousands of whatever. This area needs to stop being over-looked for real, it's time to get familiar and recognize the truth.I really can't keep writing more, because out of 1,000 visits to this page, maybe 5 will have scrolled down this far, but be on the lookout for new shit from me constantly. If you need to get in touch with me, message me on here, email me at
[email protected] or get at me on AIM, MSN, or Yahoo IM [the names for those are in the websites section to the left]. I am not one of those cruddy stuck up artists you meet on myspace, that ask you to check out their music, but don't respond to your questions and comments. I will hold a conversation with you, talk about whatever, send a track to you if you are in do-or-die need of it, it's whatever. I am here for good, I'm not goin' anywhere, and though I do this for me first, I definitely do this for the fans and people who I plan on getting the messages out to. So if I carry it like you don't matter when you try to contact me, what the fuck would that say for my character? How real would I seem then? I understand that some artists might have things going on in their life/careers that consumes most of their free time, but everyone has time to respond at one point or another. I'm a real person, regular, just like you and everyone else, and I am no better than anyone. I just try to get a message out that matters, and I know music is the best way to do that, so I try my hardest to present it to you in a way that is clean, clever, and smooth, in hopes that you might pass it along to the next person and spread the word along even more.I have plenty of albums/mixtapes done, up to this point, and many are available for free to the fans and supporters. The names include The Return '07, It's Hot In June, The Rebirth '08, God of War '08, and releasing 5.12.08, Street Mathematics, the new addition to the list. I also have some older titles, when I was still in the process of grasping this music shit, and if you are that into the style and delivery, maybe I could send you some tracks off the original subliminais. If you are interested in any of these older projects, get at me and we'll work something out for sure. Like Immortal Technique says, "Burn it off the fuckin' Internet and bump it outside!"If you are on my friend list already, I will be sending bulletins closer to the times of the releases I have coming up, but for a list of the projects I have in the works, probably in order, I will be releasing a collaboration mixtape very soon with Xpress, titled 'Best Kept Secret', and that should be a deep mixtape for all the hip hop heads out there to enjoy for months on repeat. After that, I should be hitting you off soon with a Rock/Rap mixtape I am currently working on, probably titled 'Rock Out With Your Cock Out', and what that will be is a project with hard hitting, rock inspired beats, and rap/hiphop vocals with a strong delivery and attitude. Then I have a project I have been working on, that will ultimately turn out to be my solo album when it is finished, containing the deepest and best hand picked tracks that I think I have ever done up to this point. That project will be called 'Long Time Coming', and the name says it all. I think that the people who are true fans of the art, and my music and messages, have been waiting for the point when I would actually put this project together. It will be printed and pressed to CD, with a two-sided cover containing the album artwork and track listing, as well as contact info and other information, and will be packaged in mixtape style. However, this will not be just your average mixtape effort. Trust me when I say that this project has all of the qualifications of a classic hip hop album to put on your rack along with the rest of the greats. I have put more time and effort into this single project than anything else I have done in my life, up to this point. And then, probably as I am finishing the prep and polishing for that project, I am engaged in another mixtape collaboration with Deezy Da Hitman, titled 'Army of Two', but don't get it confused, this is not a game! This will be a very hard-hitting mixtape, with another notable name in the game, and it will be pretty much southern-style banger beats, with strong delivery, and unmatched lyrics. Something everyone should enjoy on that, so there shouldn't be any excuses. Anyway, be on the lookout for these next 4 projects, and since I sometimes get more impatient than you do, I will probably drop another unexpected release on you, sometime between these scheduled releases, so always be on the lookout. Thanks for reading this far, and givin' a fuck what I have to say! Drop a comment if you read this far, and let me know, so it doesn't go unnoticed. I'll stop through and show you the same love and support for sure. Let's get it! '08 is MY YEAR! GET SOME MONEY WITH ME!_Knowledge
