I am censoring myself for the good of the people!!

About Me

Born in Houston, Texas at the end of the centenial celebrations in '76. Spent 27 years in and about Texas seeking out the "lower quarters", playing guitar and writing my eulogies. Joined the Army and off we went to see the world. Relocated in Norfolk, VA to sing about the journey.I spent two years in Austin, Texas and I miss it dearly. My time there really introduced me to a wide variety of genres and styles of playing and introduced me to a lot of neat people and players. Shout out to all the "gutter punks" and "drag rats" down on Guadalupe.Off I went to back to Houston for a few more years and reaquainted myself with some of the old crew from the "Merry Prankster" years. It was here that I started recording and playing with the Sun Collective and investigated the East End and Magnolia Park. Say hey to Tony, Bristo, all the guys in Cell Block D, Cecil's Pub, Lisa and Vera, and the Harrisburg Bum Squad.Made my way up to Deep East Texas and Nacogdoches. SFA all the way! Flashback Cafe. Mr. Natural and English 222. Spent some time in a Fundamentalist Cult and played the Praise and Worship circuit. I still praise the lord, but I won't kill you over it.Kuwait was cool, except during the day. The nights consisted off jamming with Sluder and the boys. A promotion, a demotion or two? Hash and "haji water" and about an album's worth of songs. Two weeks in Europe with my new blushing bride and memories for a lifetime. Still talking to Matt, Sandy, Turley and Hernie. Where did the rest of you go?Virginia is for lovers. And here I stay. Spent more time in the Theatre and finding out who I really sound like. Thank you all for listening to what I have to say. More will be revealed...... ToolsForMySpace.com

I've been confused and compared to Dave Matthews. I went through a period where I tried to sound like Kurt Cobain (short lived, one night at the dinner table). Someone once said I had an "island" sound while I was playing a blues song. My mother says I sound like an angel. Shiela Swift says I sound "pretty", while I think she looks it. I contributed some sounds to Sun Collective that were psychedelic laced, alcohol soaked, cannabis induced meanderings topped of with an opiate kick drum beat. Jazzy!! Then there's that folk thing. I've been told I sound like John Cougar Mellancamp.
