The Rails began in the summer of 2001 when Jeremy Willets returned home from college and was looking for a vehicle to explore his newly developing songwriting skills. He found it in Drew Doman, his guitar teacher during high school. Jeff Harmon knew Willets through Doman, and agreed to do the drumming. After numerous false starts -- and a few sessions worth of completed recordings that just didn't measure up -- the band finished their debut album at Curtis Leonard's studio in the summer of 2006. "Life's a Lonely Ride" is set for release on August 1st, 2006. It contains twelve songs:
1. Ready to Fly
