lost inside the sound of sirens

About Me

From the age of three strumming a too-big, one-stringed guitar and listening to The Beatles from his carseat, Will Villa knew he was destined to be a musician. Until recently, though, he was far too skilled at procrastination to even set up a simple myspace music page. Now, with the help of Stephanie, he finally has his page and is on his way to indie stardom (which means a short tour in small local venues across several adjacent states - but hey, it's what he wants).
Because of the recent curiousity involving the lo-fi sound quality of the recordings, I shall give you all an explanation.
The lo-fi sound quality of the recordings is the result of each recording session being held in a small room with a small computer with an internal microphone. The vocal effects used were chorus and echo, nothing else. The electric guitar was recorded while normally amplified with the volume relatively low. The piano track was recorded while the electric piano rested comfortably on a bed near the computer. Can you possibly get any more 'lo-fi'? Hopefully this explanation has answered all of your questions. Thanks to everyone who complimented the lo-fi sound quality of my songs and my songs in general.
