At the moment i'm gaining experience in the Industry at a Indie label based in Birmingham. I'm learning as much as I can and my eyes have begun to open!
I have just completed a Diploma in Music Practise at Halesowen College and have gained qualifications inthe following areas:

Theory
Arranging
Original Composition
Music In Context
Music Industry
Music In The Community
Performance Techniques
Im not sure as of yet what my next move is
If im completely honest, working in any area of the music industry would make me happy.Ill have a go at anything and im sure with a lot of experience I will find what I am really good at. I've started my own Indie label up and I intend to continue that till one of my bands is on a world tour. Then i'm going on holiday.
At the moment I am working with Kirsty Hadley Management , where I am co managing Indigo Shadow and Tukazon , who happen to be two of Birminghams finest up and coming alternative Indie bands.
Whilst working with Kirsty Hadley Management, I am promoting bands,marketing the music, booking and confirming gigs, arranging studio sessions, arranging art work to be created, setting up UK and European tours and am acting as webmaster amongst other things. Working with the company has linked me to Iron Man Records ,Birmingham Music Network and bands such as The Nightingales and Dufus.
Although I am fully committed to Kirsty Hadley Managment, I am stilling trying to ecplore different sectors of the industry including A&R, Radio, Sound Engineering, Promotions and entertainment managing, so if you ever have any work placements going- please remember me!!
I am also now enrolled on a placement with Nick Dunn at Horus Music Group. Not only does this involve working with two different independent labels, I am also involved with the management company, pop coach, and am working with a radio pugger that has worked with the five majors!
Other than being dedicated to the industry side of music, I am an avid gig goer and perform regularly in my band Indigo Shadow (yes that is one of the bands I co Manage). I am very passionate about performing but would love to make an honest living out of music.
