Aroen the Archangelâ„¢

Aroen The Archangel in the flesh: In 1998, his first official debut release was on the LP 'Procrastination' by the now defunct group Fhraecus. He went on to form The Eggbeaterzz in 2000 and completed one album but was shelved.Aroen returned to the rap scene in 2003 with his new monkier and his own label Iron Umbrella Records. His first solo record 'Stench of the Pen' was released in 2004 along with three mixtapes. Iron Umbrella Records also released an Iron Umbrella EP with contributing artists Dizpize, Beta Central, Fat Beats, and DJ Illtraxx. In 2006, Aroen released his sophmore effort 'Motion Picture Sound Attack'. He has also contributed verses on albums by Earthmovers(NMB) and Beta Central.In 2008, Aroen will be releasing another album with Oakland producer Sideswipe. As of yet, there is no working title for the album but the two have stated that they are near completion. Two more albums will follow: the third solo album titled 'Those Days Are Over' and an album with Dizpize, who when combined with Aroen, from Modern Day Marvels, officially the first musical act on Iron Umbrella Records.Aroen also is part of the indie rock group Headless Wife. He plays guitar, keyboards, and drums. An album is intended to be put out through Iron Umbrella Records.Aside from the music, Aroen is also a graphic design artist and will be releasing a children's book and also a compilation of independent illustrations through Iron Umbrella Media.
