About Me

I make button badges from bits of this and that: fabric, sweetie wrappers, scraps of paper I fish out of the bin. Oh yes, I see a potential badge in everything.I'm also an illustrator and book artist, member of the Lucky Dip collective. Find us at artists' book fairs around the UK. We'll be the ones with the jolliest stand and most cups of tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate going around.
For more information, pictures and to buy stuff check out my website: www.anwenwilliams.com
or my new DaWanda shop
(where the shelves are a bit bare at the moment, but soon they'll be brimming with lovely badges, pocket mirrors, magnets and books... you'll be spoilt for choice!)
Also on sale soon: unique hand-drawn badges from the online Badge Art gallery .

Get in touch if you want to doodle on some badges and contribute to the Badge Art gallery. The more the merrier!

My Interests

Live music in small venues; beautiful objects, views, buildings, pictures; Cadbury's Creme Eggs at Easter; sitting on Brighton beach with beer/ ice cream/ big coat (depending on the season); art/ history exhibitions; footage and photos of bygone places and people. And much more besides.

I'd like to meet:

Arty folk, music fans, gig goers, people who like to wear badges. C'mon... everyone likes a badge, don't they?!

Music:

Today's playlist is brought to you in association with the letter B. Have a flick through...

Movies:

Quirky rather than Hollywood. Though I'm not ashamed to say my most watched film ever is probably Grease!

Television:

I listen to the radio more, but telly can be so good. The Simpsons, Ugly Betty, Later With Jools Holland, My Name Is Earl, period dramas, bizarre Channel 4 documentaries. RIP Top Of The Pops.

Books:

By me:

By others: Neil Gaiman + Dave McKean's 'The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish'; 'Eats, Shoots + Leaves' by Lynne Truss, to indulge the pedant in me.

Heroes:

Anyone who pursues their talent and interests, and works hard to achieve what they want. And my mum, of course!
