1ruin - Pronunciation: 'rü-&n - Alternative rock band from Seattle, WA that delivers a show that is exciting, energetic and powerful.
RUIN is a 3 piece band from Seattle that delivers powerful live performances of their unique and diverse original songs. Since re-forming in the Summer of 2004, RUIN is developing at an incredible rate, recording material and developing their art both in the audio and video realms.
The members of RUIN are promoting their sound by writing material, recording demo's, developing press kits, playing live shows, delivering audio and video content on the internet and building a loyal audience throughout the United States.
RUIN is made up of Kris Makowichuk, guitarist, bassist and lead vocals, he brings a wealth of musical experience to the group. Guitarist Jerry DeVoe shines as the rhythm guitar player of the band and brings years of song writing and live show experience to the group. Drummer Carlos Soto lay's down a rhythmic foundation for the rest of the band to build on and provides a large range of influences for the band to draw from.
RUIN is marching towards a future full of successful recording, live shows, and radio airplay. Through promotion, continued recording and continued development of audio and video experiences, RUIN takes aim on creating artwork that is meaningful and influental and delivering it to the largest of audiences.
