May 8, 2008 THE BATHROOM AND BEYOND" AN ART INSTALLATION PART 1
The making of "THE BATHROOM AND BEYOND" took time and and pure energy. The idea of The Havana Collection was conceived at Socialista, a gathering place for people who are indeed fixated with their own craft. It was the beginning of winter when I found myself having dinner with Zelda Kaplan at Socialista. The place was pure drama. It evokes mix feeling, sad and happy, old and new. It became a powerful inspiration that drove me into creative frenzy. The next day, I found myself in our bathroom armed with all my tools ready to transform my canvas, the bathroom into an artwork.
It took all winter to complete the project because I went beyond the bathroom into the kitchen and into the bedroom. The experience was energizing and yet exhausting mentally and physically. I withdrew for a while from the outside world. My only connection was Myspace. It became my art gallery, my museum and my creative sanctuary. . Everyday I see a collection of amazing images sent by known and unknown artists all over the world. Their work inspired me and helped me endure the process of creating my new collection . There were demons to be dealt with and at times they seemed to overcome me.
Fighting with the demons was not an easy task. It requires you to be physically and mentally strong. I have survived my demons and it is a pleasure to introduce to you "The bathroom and beyond" Part 1
TEAMING UP WITH NOAH G. POP @THE GRAND NYC APRIL 25, 2008

An amazing thing happened last Friday night in the art and fashion world in New York City’s premier party venue, the Grand at 58th st. between Madison and Park avenues. My unique collaboration with Noah G, Pop has created enough buzz in the internet social network Myspace and in my AOL on line reality show blog. The exclusive glass enclosed VIP room was transformed into a Pop art and avant garde fashion setting. Noah G. Pop presented his video version of Goddesses for the first time . It made the perfect backdrop for my collection “Havana†with models makeup and hair based on the artistic styling of Noah G. Pop. He is incredible and exciting. The evening was a huge success with people who are at the top of their game came to support the event.
Jack, Muki and I left around 3AM before the club closes at 4AM. The taxi ride home to Brooklyn was very quiet. Although exhausted and tired, I can not help thinking about the amazing people who helped shaped the event into an unforgettable evening.
My sincere thanks to Noah G. Pop and his team Fatima Mulroy and Rami, the two gorgeous and exotic goddesses, to Herbert Fox and his team. To ERUAN HAIR SALON & SPA 6 West 37th St., New York City who have executed the incredible hair and makeup based on Noah’s Goddesses, to Lisa from LES AIMES for the fabulous jewelry worn by the models.
A special thank to my assistant Travis periera, who did an outstanding job finding the right models. Thank you to the gorgeous models Giselle,. Emily, Jouxne, Kristal , who flew from California to do the show, Ivori, Kala, Catherine. The two sisters Shayne and Alysondra and Viktoriya( thank you Chris from Optic Lounge studio for sending her).
Although some critics called my collection a bit scandalous, the models were very confident, bold ,strong and sexy.. Thank you to Sharon E. Clarke, senior designer for BluSafire for the last minute helping hand. Thank you to Leroi, senior designer for Blusafire for outfitting Travis with a very European chic jacket.Thank you to Joey and Muki for their creative energies! And most of all to Jack for believing in me. I love you Jack!

I BELIEVE IN KARMA
The people that we meet in the course of our lifetime is predestined. We meet these people for a reason. In our collage of our life, there are images that are permanently glued and there are those that are easily removed. We choose who we keep in our collages. These are the people who will help shape the person we want to become. Sometimes judgement fail us when we lack intelligence to determine the good karmas from the bad. As entrepreneurs, we struggle to fight off the evils. We become warriors using our mind, heart and soul to become winners in these arena. As an entrepreneur in New York City, the most saturated and the most challenging arena of all, I am happy to share with you that I am doing fine, well more than fine. The bad karmas has given me experiences that help me become stronger and wiser .
The Grace Edwards New York Inc. is now in its fourth year. The business is growing in different direction. Thanks to all the great people I have met - the good karmas.
One year ago, Herb Fox, the legendary club promoter introduced me to Allan Hale, the CEO of Hungry Wolf Productions and Prodigy Music International based in LA; Specializing in artist endorsements & sponsorships, video production, tv placement, concert tours, and marketing within the music industry. He also introduced me to Khaleed and Doobie from Bad Boy Productions. There was an instant chemistry amongst us, a great sign of good karma.

Last week, we met again to finalize a music video production that will involved the Grace Edwards collection and an appearance by Zelda Kaplan and other talents from the Hungry Wolf Production

Another good karma, my meeting with Noah G Pop on Myspace. When Noah requested my friendship, I became fascinated by his art work. He is indeed very gifted , a new Warhol in his generation. I immediately invited him to exhibit one his pieces at theManhattan Motor Club Fashion show sponsored by the Black Tie International. His piece the Martini was very exciting and very inspiring. Art lovers were drawn to that canvas. It was a hit.
