I am here for Friends

About Me

My name is Lewis Griffin. I was born in Craven County, North Carolina, me and my mother moved to Philadelphia, where she was raised, when I was one. Obviously I was too young to remember any of that. I lived in Philadelphia from then up until my high school graduation in 1998. Then I moved to Williamsport, PA with my family.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Michael Jordan, and any cool people that could get along with me.

Music:

Teddy Pendergrass ,Stevie Wonder, Luther, Whitney Houston, The O'Jays, some Alicia Keys. India Arie is my current fav. How could I forget the Godfather of Soul, the man who your favorite rappers, favorite rappers sampled, the man who's style your favorite dancer is copying whether they know it or not, James Brown. The King of Pop the one and only Michael Jackson who's been making hits since he was ten years old. I loved the prime Michael Jackson who made Thriller, and Off the Wall before all the controversy, but all of his music is great. I listen to some rap, but I mostly listen to old school R&B

Movies:

Soul Food, Jurassic Park, Friday, Coming to America, New Jack City, Remember the Titans

Television:

A lot of ESPN, ESPN News, ESPN Classic, Some BET, a little MTV. I might watch a movie from time to time.

Books:

Roll of Thunder Hear my Cry, To be the Man by Ric Flair, Out of Bounds by Jim Brown. I read magazines more than books.

Heroes:

God. The two biggest role models in my life my mom, and my grandmom. As far as heroes on T.V. I love athletes like Michael Jordan, Deion, Emmitt Smith, Dominique Wilkins, but my biggest hereos are people I've actually been around, and really impacted my life.

My Blog

Just some thoughts

All the talk has been about the Superbowl, and why not it was a great game.  While the Patriots were the best team in the league for almost the whole season, they weren't the best team yesterday ...

Random Thoughts

You know it's tough dealing with someone that wants to put you in a negative stat of mind.  Maybe they do it, because they feel negative themselves, and want that negativity to spread, or maybe t...

After the death of James Brown I just felf like writing something about him. James Brown is recognized as many things. The Godfather of Soul, and as an innovator in what would later be called rap musi...

Blah Blah

Haven't been up to much.  That's probably because the summer break is at an end, and there's less to do than usual.  It's not much to do around here in the summer, but even less in the ...
