The most difficult thing to do is to look at yourself realistically. I think that we are all seen 3 ways. How we think we are perceived, how we perceive ourselves and how we really and truly are.
So everyday, I polish my mirror in an effort to align those 3 entities. Some days I totally accomplish living a life full of compassion and life to life dialogues with people who are in and come through my life. However, there are days....I fall short or forget all together about my journey.
The point is that everyday I am (as most people are) trying. I sincerely believe that when we are more aware of our own human revolution, we make the world in which we live a much better place to be.
I am not saying that we will be free of the obstacles of everyday life but we would be aware and use our skillset to help ourselves and practice kindness and consideration for others.
What I am learning is that we all are so much more alike than we are different. It seems like all of a sudden; I am meeting all of these new and super extraordinary people while seeing old friends in a new and brilliant light. At first I started to wonder about this but then I realized that these extraordinary people are showing me their journey so that I can better understand my own.
For that I am humbled and eternally grateful.
