WHO ARE WE?!?! NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About Me

We are the 69th North Carolina-(www.69nccoa.com), We depict a unit that was comprised of mostly Cherokees as well as men (of all races) from the mountains that fought for the Southern cause during the U.S. Civil War. Almost everything we do is authentic, from eating food from an open pit fire (you have not lived until you have eaten our cooks food!) to marching and drilling, to even sleeping in authentic tents. Our unit is a dettachment from General Hardy's brigade, and we travel all around Florida as well as parts of southern Georgia for reenactments. If you are ignorant and/or close minded---In other words, if you thumb your nose at us Southeners, then don't waist your time visiting here because it will not be tolerated!!!!
